My rendition of a glorious lighthouse sunset, with emphasis on colour and the movement of the sea. Lighthouse Sunset combines a number of themes that I return to often in my paintings: scyscapes, the movement of the sea, and the peacefulness of late afternoon and early evening. I find these themes wonderful for eliminating stress and promoting relaxation. Hopefully, this image will do the same for you.

My original painting of Lighthouse Sunset is a deceptively small piece, measuring just 22 x 10 inches. Central to this painting is the rendition of the sea – always a tricky but fascinating exercise for an artist. The colors of this painting demand a wide and very dark, preferably black frame. The picture fits best in a light-coloured, uncrowded wall space. Note that the PDF image available for download is in a larger format – 49 x 19½ inches.
