This painting was created as a commission for a customer. Although this is not my usual style of painting, I am very drawn to the form and contours of the human body: the veins and sinews, as well as the elusive hues and idiosyncrasies of the human skin. I am also captivated by the collapsible texture of lightweight clothing and materials, and the intangible form and flow of the hair.
