The Great Rann of Kutch

It was during a trip on a sleeper train through India that I first set eyes on this image. It was a small 3-inch by 3-inch advertisement inside a local newspaper left behind by another traveler. I put the page safely in my backpack and carried it with me through the rest of our adventures in India. On our return home I converted the tiny image to a majestic 1 meter by 1 meter oil painting, and this is the result.
